Madison, WI, January 12, 2001 – Payment Service Network, Inc. (PSN), the leading online provider of payment processing, and the Self-Storage Association (SSA), the only national and international non-profit association working solely for the owners, operators and suppliers in the self-storage industry have forged a partnership to provide mutually beneficial services bringing online payment processing to SSA members while allowing greater market penetration to PSN. PSN will offer its payment services to the SSA and its members allowing greater payment flexibility. The SSA will help market PSN and its services to the SSA’s 1,700 national members. “Our strategic partnership with The SSA helps to insure that the SSA and its members are given the payment flexibility and control needed in today’s self-storage industry”, said Dennis Hall, Executive Vice President and head of future business development. “At the same time it allows us a marketing presence with The SSA and its members”, concludes Hall. The strategic partnership allows the SSA to accept payments online for all membership dues and tradeshow fees. In addition, PSN is waiving the convenience fee if members make their payments via check. “This is an option that was added to help increase online payments for the members of the SSA”, comments Hall. “We are trying to provide a seamless online payment process that is extremely attractive to the members of the SSA”. PSN is also set to waive its annual $350 membership fee for all members of the SSA that wish to institute PSN and its payment system into their self-storage facility.
